Foundation

Introduction to Buddhism

MT001: 24 teaching weeks for Sunday Dhamma School.
YT1000: 12 teaching weeks for the Youth Dhamma Programme.

Further study

Certificate of Buddhist Studies

The introductory course plus KR001, KR002, MD001 and MD002. Each additional course is 12 weeks. Prerequisites apply.

Advanced entry

Keep your prior achievement

Successful completion of the introductory certificate can support entry to the remaining four courses, subject to Institute enrolment arrangements.

Applied Learning and honorary recognition

Eligible, recorded participation in approved activities may contribute towards the Certificate of Applied Buddhist Learning. Requirements vary by pathway; routine attendance or opening a resource does not automatically earn recognition.

The Honorary Certificate of Buddhist Studies (Hon. CBS) recognises eligible Sangha contribution through a separate recognition process. It is not awarded from ordinary quiz results.

Learning at Cheras, Klang and other branches

Sukha Dhamma School, Cheras administers its own education and certification arrangements, separate from standard TRIBS qualifications.

Ti-Ratana Vihara, Klang Sutta Study does not issue a separate Sutta Study certificate in the 2026 prospectus. Eligible recorded participation may contribute to Applied Learning recognition.

Selected activities at other participating branches may be eligible. Provision varies by branch; enquire before making arrangements.
